Spálovský, a.s. is a manufacturer of low and high voltage electrical switchboards. We are a purely Czech business with our own brand, active on the Czech market since 1990. Since its establishment, the company has gradually evolved in terms of its legal form, from a natural legal entity to a corporate body, which it has been since 1998.
In 2006 the company entered into a partnership agreement with the Danish corporation CUBIC - ModulSystem A/S. With this move, we secured the possibility of designing and manufacturing switchboards in modular drawer design with an internal separation of functional units. This system has been successfully applied and delivered to numerous projects for nuclear power stations in Czech Republic and in Slovakia.
In 2018, Spálovský, a.s. transferred its assets to a group under Global Business, a.s. Global Business is a technological partner of the Siemens Corporation and produces low and high voltage switchboards mainly for industrial applications.
Even after this change of ownership, Spálovský, a.s. remains an entirely independent corporation, manufactures low and high voltage switchboards mainly for the power engineering industry, such as thermal and nuclear power stations, railway, and subway. It holds full certification for all these customer segments.
For large projects, the synergy of both corporations working together is a great benefit. This association of companies demonstrates strong presence on the Czech market. It is one of three major switchboard manufacturers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The annual turnover of both companies combined is about 20 million EUR.
In 2020, Spálovský, a.s. became a technological partner of Schneider Electric. Now we are producing, selling, and servicing SM6 -24 type high voltage switchboards under a license from Schneider Electric.
